Anyone else annoyed by the Breast Cancer Awareness month?
Breast cancer sucks, we all know that. But enough with the commercials, billboards, all that crappy pink merchandise that's probably made in China. Its been over done, and tired of hearing about it. WE GET IT LADIES!! Where's the publicity for prostate cancer? Do I see men and women athletes wearing Blue? All the commercials? How much money does it take to find a cure? Helloooo!?? Answer my question please, not some PMS fueled banter.

Okay first off, fuck you. Obviously your a man. Secondly, Although I've never personally had breast cancer(and I hope to the good lord I never do) It is a scary and terrible disease. Absolutley horrible. and It's like I want to rant about it, but just from your shitty little question I can tell you wouldn't get it and you wouldn't even try too. So, I hope you find a heart.

Wow, some human being you are. If you want prostate cancer to be more publicized why don't you go out and publicize? if you care that much.. good luck finding a wife..

I am a breast cancer survivor.... You are most likely going to hear from a quite a few of us here with your aggressive post when there are so many breast cancer survivors/patients and their family members in the world.... Breast cancer just happens to have many, many advocates - obviously more than any other cancer and that's why its so profound in advertisements, fundraising, etc.- so possibly you want to get more advocates for the type of cancer support YOU find most close to your heart and get that word out too. Good luck.

Well, you see, it's like this. The reason there is a lot more campaigning around breast cancer is that people concerned about breast cancer do something about it. The reason there isn't a comparable campaign around testicular or prostate cancer is that there are far more people whining on the internet than actually doing anything about it.

Yeah i hear ya with the everything pink to remind you of breast cancer awareness, although let me say Men can also get breast cancer. When women get breast cancer its a terrible experience so many thoughts racing throughout their minds constantly , what if's. im sure same for the low percentage of men that get it as well. i would rate breast cancer as a high need for donations to try and figure out a cure for it. Im not putting down any other needs out their nor am i saying that breast cancer is all we need cured. Aids, Hepetitis, etc we need just as much figured out , as much as im tired of seeing things like my toothbrush or soda beverages going pink for the cause, im happy that people remember there is a need for its help, now if people would only educate themselves after seeing the pink ribbon and know exactly why they need to donate that might make me a little less irritated by it. Also its amazing to see all the pink, i know its mostly by self interest that the advertisement has been out there, but lets face it, most people would not care about breast cancer if not many people had it , only self interested people by someone that has it or someone they know , or someone saying something to them like a family member saying its common in our family will donate. but others will donate from this advertising , good for the pink ribbon. now if we could only figure out something for other foundations to get more donations as well, i hear you on that one too.

Nope. As a Breast Cancer Patient, and for the many people I lost due to Breast Cancer, I am very happy with it. Thanks very much for asking
