Ok, yesterday I hit my left breast accidentally and it immediately started hurting, I thought it would get better through the night but it didn't. It hurts even when I don't touch it.... can it be breast cancer? I'm only 14 years old. I can feel a small lump around my nipple if i feel.

Highly, HIGHLY unlikely. If you're 14, your breasts are probably still extra sensitive since they are probably still growing. When breasts grow, there will be little lumps that go away after a few days or weeks that are perfectly normal in the breast tissue. If this lump doesn't go away in a month or so, get checked out by a doctor, but you're probably worrying about nothing.

Cancer is rare in teens. Certain diseases like breast cancer usually affect adult women - teen girls are unlikely to get this form of cancer. Talk to your mom about injuring your breast so that she can decide if you need to go to the doctor.

i dont think so. sometimes if you have a infection or something in your mouth your breast swollen and a lump can appear. im pretty sure you dont have breast cancer. i've worried about that too but the lump disappeared. wait a few days. im sure it will go away.

i had that problem once at camp sometimes your breast are more sensitive than others therefore a slight thump can hurt more a certain times than others (like around you period) and there is generally a feeling of a knot under you nipple because there is tissue and fat there (all boobs really are are fat deposits. Also the tissues in your breast can become tangled so a small knot may come up i say it's probably not cancer although that can occur at any age i would say give it a week or two see if it goes away and check to see if the size gets any bigger. If it doesn't go away or if it gets bigger then get it checked out

It is possible, i've had a younf 12 year old that had to go in for surgery on her breasts for cancer; but it's rare. You're also not going to get breast cancer from hitting or bumping your breast, it's a myth

I know some people who do karate and they say it kills when they get hit there. Check for colouring cause the lump might be the result of a bruise. I have a friend who was kinda flat and she thought she had breast cancer. She went to the doctors to check it out (after asking for a female doctor) and it turned out to be normal breast development. She didn't have any pain like you but she still got it checked. Its a relatively simple procedure and its better to be safe than sorry. It is possible to get cancer at that age and I am quite concerned because both my mother and uncle have had cancer. If u still have doubts about getting help and your not too conservative maybe ask ur mum about it
