i have a science project on genetic disorders...i was assigned breast cancer. for one part, i'm asked to do a punnett square for someone who would have the disorder. she didnt teach us punnett squares haha so..help?

Um...does your teacher know what she's doing? There is no one gene that causes breast cancer. And you can't exclude environmental factors, such as being exposed to carcinogens. The "cancer" alleles that are inherited do not mean that you will get breast cancer, they just mean that you have a greater chance of getting it at some point in your life. Perhaps your teacher is referring to the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes? ...I think you need to speak with your teacher. Get her to help clarify things for you. Because she seems to be on a completely different wave length to reality
