Not being rude, but why the hell would she want songs that are "good" for cancer???? And why would you?? She has way more to deal with than some good songs. Thanks guys! You don't even want to know what would have come out of my mouth if someone brought me a cd full of crappy sad songs!

April said it a bit harsher than I would perhaps have, but that was my immediate first reaction too. How about a card and something pretty she can keep with her, like a photo frame she can have by her bedside? maybe one of the digital ones and load it up with pictures of her friends and family, and another of just nice peaceful country scenes for when she wants to be left alone.

Rascall Flatts has the perfect song for that, and I know it cheers me up as well! :) I have Breast Cancer also. It's called "MY WISH". http://www.elyrics.net/read/r/rascal-flatts-lyrics/my-wish-lyrics.html There is also "Stand"...I feel this way, all the time...It's been great advice. :) http://www.elyrics.net/read/r/rascal-flatts-lyrics/stand-lyrics.html They have tons of appropriate songs, you should check them out. :)

A song isn't going to help your grandmother. There are no songs that are "good for" cancer. If you wish to help your grandmother, then do something genuinely helpful. If you live nearby, then go visit her and help around her house. Mow her lawn, take out the trash, and wash her car because she may be too occupied with her health to do that type of stuff right now. Be helpful, but don't be nosy. Don't ask questions about her illness. If she wants to tell you about it, then let her start the conversation. Best wishes that your grandmother has a good long term outcome
