If your breasts got hit by a soccer ball really hard, would that be a possible lead to breast cancer? What actually causes breast cancer and how can you prevent it? Please be very detailed :)

no you cannot get breast cancer from being hit to hard

no that doesn't lead to breast cancer. you get breast cancer because there is a tumor in your chest.

You could get a nasty bruise, but that's about it. There's really no details to give except most breast cancers occur in women over 50 and many times it's hormone driven although there are other causes.

Not really. Getting hit by a soccer ball in your breasts once won't technically give you breast cancer. Factors of ''How you get breast cancer" are really unknown. The only sensible one is a mutation occurring in the blood stream cells, or inheriting it from a relative. Other factors include, denser breast tissue, already having another treatment to a different type of cancer can increase your risk of breast cancer, not having children or simply having them after the age of thirty is also a risk of breast cancer, and birth control pills can also add to the cause. Although there aren't really ways to prevent breast cancer, you can reduce your risk of getting it...For example, having a number of children at a younger age (in your 20's rather than beyond your 30's). Being pregnant reduces your number of lifetime menstrual cycles which can also be the effect. Also, you may want to try exercising daily, eating healthy, limiting alcohol use, and even not using post-menopausal hormone therapy (PHT).. Hope this helped a bit =]

There are several things known to increase your risk of breast cancer. So far, injury such as blunt force trauma isn't one of them. This doesn't mean it won't lead to breast cancer, just that we don't know it will increase your risk. Any injury could lead to cell mutation which could lead to cancer, but there is no scientific evidence it will. Be vigilant, but then we all should be, but don't be paranoid
