can having fibrocystic breasts increase your chance of getting breast cancer?
and how can you tell the difference from the bumps on your breasts, or an actual bump meaning breast cancer?

Cancer would be a lump, unlike regualar tiny bumps

Hello. I've had them all my life, and my doctor said it does not increase my chances of getting cancer, but it does make it harder to see a lump on my mammogram, because my breasts are so dense. Cancerous lumps are usually more hard, and don't move easily. Softer ones that you can move, are less likely to be cancer. That being said, any lump should be looked at by a doctor. It's better to be safe, then sorry. Take care :-)

I don't know if this will help fibrocyctic problems but it has been shown to decrease cancer risk. Check out the article on breast cancer prevention
