How can you tell if you have breast cancer or not?
Yesterday my sister punched me really hard in my chest and ever since then, I have this VERY hard knot in my right boob! I'm scared I don't want breast cancer.. and if I do have it, will I have to get it chopped off? :[ I'm scared please help me I'm only 14!

cancer is abnomal cells and can only be determined by lab tests. You have a bruised boob, you will be fine in a few days

You are not going to get breast cancer from getting punched in the boob. Masses or lumps develop on their own. If you have a history of breast cancer in your family you are at greater risk, but not because your sister hit you. Say someday in the future you do get breast cancer, you may or may not have to get your breasts removed (mastectomy) depending on the stage and degree the cancer has developed. But rest your fears sweetie, as of now enjoy your life as a normal healthy 14 year old.

Well you can't get breast cancer by being punched in the boobs. You have to raise one arm so that your breasts tighten and then feel for lumps. It's best to do it before you go to bed and doing it in the shower does not work, because your breasts have to tighten. If you find a lump go to the doctor. But really kid stop overreacting.

What an awful place to get punched in. I would say that you're bruised from the punch. If it doesn't go away in a few days then have your parents take you to the doctor.

breat cancer is really rare in 14 year olds. if she punched you hard enough you probably burst a blood vessel sometimes that can cause a bump in your breast. but it will go away dont worry about it
