There are so many cancers out there, skin, lung, brain etc but I see so much for breast cancer. They make products pink for awareness, constantly see advertisements for charities, walks and such. I see a lot for breast cancer, more then any other cancer. How come? Is it more common or something? I meant to put it under health I made a mistake o well.

You'd probably get better response if you put this question under some "health" category. Right now it's going head to head against political questions.

They have a medical section here. Also, yes, breast cancer is very common.

Because it is "the leading cause of cancer death in women between the ages of 15 and 54, and the second cause of cancer death in women 55 to 74." http://womenshealth.about.com/cs/breastcancer/a/breastcancfacts.htm

It's one of the most common cancers (especially among women). But I hear more about lung cancer than anything.

The squeaky wheel gets the oil. I agree; in the past few years I have lost four family members to cancer, other than breast. It was BAM BAM BAM BAM .. one after another.I don't understand cancer or why it is handled by the money grabbers the way it is. There must be more money in fighting for breast cancer research. My only reasoning is that;as like most charities so much more money goes to the people running the charity, than is used to do something about it. Make your cause known. Get people to give you money so you can afford to make an ad campaign to ask for more...so people will give you more money. It's all about the money. hey..wait a minute ; so it was put in a different area than you people feel comfortabe with. It's a good question! No sense in belittlement..Just don't answer with such remarks. If you don't like it..ignore it
