How do you know if you have breast cancer

How do you know if you have breast cancer?
When I squeeze my boobs, it feels all soft and liek in the middle theres liek something there, its like soft and muscly...does that mean i have breast cancer? or is it just muscles?

You cant know just by feeling a lump you need to get it checked by doctors..

That's completely normal. Your questions say you're in 8th grade; I'm guessing that means about 13 years old (I'm not American). At your age the chances of breast cancer are so close to zero that it makes almost no difference. The chances of it occurring in both breasts are even lower. Breast cancer is almost unheard of in under 25s and fewer than 0.1% of all those diagnosed with it are under 30. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was classed as a 'younger woman'; I was 50. Breast cancer is a disease of older adult women. Put it out of your mind. ============ EDIT: It is not recommended to check your breasts at your age; it will tell you nothing and worry you unnecessarily. The American Cancer Society and other cancer organisations recommend that women begin breast self examination at no younger than 20, if then. Before that it's pointless; firstly because there are so many hormonal changes that there is no 'normal' - and self examination is about a woman knowing what's normal for her and reporting any changes. And secondly because the chance of breast cancer is almost nil.

It is good that your a doing a monthly self exam of your breasts. This is an excellent habit. I seriously doubt that you have breast cancer, but getting to know the normal feel of your breast will help you identify changes in the future. Most cancers are identified through a biopsy.
