Putting a charity section on my website, can I use the breast cancer ribbon

Putting a charity section on my website, can I use the breast cancer ribbon?
I am putting a charity section on my website. I will make annual donations to breast cancer and would like to know if they would allow me to put the pink ribbon on my homepage and next to it stating that we are a proud contributor to susan g komen foundation. Does anyone knows of specific sites that do this. I dont want to infringe on trademarks etc.

What design should I make for a breast cancer tee shirt

What design should I make for a breast cancer tee shirt?
My best friends mom had breast cancer, but she beat it! Her mom, my best friend, a few of her moms friends, and I are doing a breast cancer walk. We want to make shirts, but I'm out of ideas. So I need help (: Their song is Fight like a girl by bomshel (great song!) So I thought maybe on the back of the shirt we could write "Fight Like A Girl" I dont know any help would be nice (:

What about two fists on the front of the shirt (one for each breast)? That would fit with the "fight like a girl" theme. Congratulations to your friend's mom, and good luck with your walk

What are some good breast cancer quotes

What are some good breast cancer quotes?
I am making shirts, and really need some good quotes on breast cancer. It's be really helpful

SAVE THE TA-TAS!!!
2 :
" I have breast cancer. But it doesn't have me!"
3 :
As a breast cancer survivor (so far) my favourite quotes are from Shelley Lewis' great book 'Five Lessons I Didn't Learn From Breast Cancer', in response to those who claim cancer is a life-changing gift: ''If you think cancer is a gift, you must have a closet full of really shitty stuff. If you think cancer is a gift, I hope you've saved the receipt. If you truly believe cancer is a gift, you can't come to my next birthday party.'' Damn, I wish I'd said that! I know that's not what you're looking for, but please avoid things like 'Save the Tatas' or 'I live Boobies'. I and many other women with breast cancer find them insulting, demeaning and trivialising of a deadly disease. Consider how you would feel about a shirt for penile cancer that said 'I Love Willies' or one for testicular cancer which said 'Save the Bollocks;. If those slogans are in any way inappropriate or distasteful to you, so must 'Save the Tatas' etc be. If I wanted to make a shirt with a breast cancer slogan, I'd chose '80% Over 50'. Not funny, not catchy, but it gives information - 80% of those diagnosed with breast cancer are over 50 - and might serve to remind those women most at risk of breast cancer to do breast checks and go for their routine mammograms

why is white clear liquid coming out of my right boob? is it mean breast cancer

why is white clear liquid coming out of my right boob? is it mean breast cancer?
I am 21 years old.I am sure that I am not pregnant cos I could the test.but a white color liquid is coming out only my right breast when I squeeze it. In these breast I feel sometime pain.is it means breast cancer?

Very unlikely, but you should go see your doctor to be sure.
2 :
If you're pregnant or just gave birth, it might be colostrum. Even men lactate at times, so it's not entirely a strange thing that liquid comes out. To be sure it isn't anything like cancer, you could always visit a doctor.
3 :
No, not hardly but, I would make an appointment with my doctor, sometimes a breast leaks for no reason but to be safe, talk to your doctor about it.
4 :
It is beyond unlikely that it's breast cancer, which is almost unheard of at your age. Breast cancer is mainly a disease of ageing; fewer than 0.1% of all those diagnosed with it are under 30. To put things in perspective - when I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was allocated to the breast care nurse whose special interest was 'breast cancer in younger women'. I was 50 - still pretty young for breast cancer. A little spontaneous discharge may well be nothing to worry about, but se your doctor for reassurance if it persists. Pain is very rarely a sign of breast cancer - most people diagnosed with breast cancer have felt no pain

if a person has breast cancer, can she have sex before treatment

if a person has breast cancer, can she have sex before treatment?
She is waiting for biopsy to determine if she has breast cancer, does sex make her test worst?

This isn’t before treatment it’s before diagnosis. Sex has nothing to do with the outcome of a biopsy. Either she has cancer or she doesn’t.
2 :
She can have sex before, during and after treatment. Just don't let the I.V. tubing get in the way. (a little humor and sex are a healthy part of a good outcome

Can breast implants increase the risk of breast cancer

Can breast implants increase the risk of breast cancer?
I'm 14 and my boobs are really small, they won't ever go into a cleavage, they're only an A. I was very worried that they wouldn't grow much when I get older, so I was thinking of possibly getting breast implants, when I'm older if they haven't grown, to bump me up to a C cup? I don't want to look fake and horrible like Katie Price etc. So can they increase your risk of breast cancer, or does it not make a difference?
Cancer - 6 Answers

1 :
don't worry about that yet! You'll grow a bit more, I'm sure.
2 :
Implants can make it more difficult to detect breast cancer when going for a breast screen. There are specialist machines, but they are not 100% proof either. Surgery is never risk free but the chances of developing breast cancer because of implants is extremely rare if atall. At 14, I was a 34AA. I am now 24 and a 36C. It took until I was 20 for my boobs to stop developing so don't fret, you have plenty of time to grow :-)
3 :
Except for the recent news story suggesting a possible link between breast implants and an increased risk of a rare form of cancer known as anaplastic large cell lymphoma, silicone breast implants have not been linked to the usual ductal adenocarcinoma breast cancer risk From http://www.cancer.gov/newscenter/pressreleases/2000/siliconebreast " In one of the largest studies on the long-term health effects of silicone breast implants, researchers from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, Md., found no association between breast implants and the subsequent risk of breast cancer. The study is published in the November issue of Cancer Causes and Control.* Breast implants first appeared on the market in 1962."
4 :
I think the jury is still out on that risk. But hey, you are 14 - have a good life with your little breasts! You shouldn't waste four year until you can get something that you may not even really like then. All fourteen year olds are shy about their breasts - that is not only you. But you are supposed to get over it, and then it is really nice. Implants - or thinking about implants all the time - that is so "Gollum-like" if you know that story. Something that you think you get invisible behind, so no one can get you for your vulnerability, but in reality you just become cold and lonely and things that should mean something to you stop doing that, and you miss out on all the nice things that you would find if you were looking for them instead. But every 14-year old have always been worried about something - don't let that get to you too much ;o)
5 :
Honey you are 14 and you are still growing so don't worry so much right now what size you are. Gosh! I was 20 years old before I reached a B cup and then close to 25 before I reached a C. Just wait until you are about 18 or 19 and I bet you will most likely be a size you really like, something that is proportioned to your body and if you still are an A cup then, which I feel certain you won't be then you can decide whether you really want the implants or not. As for implants increasing your risk of breast cancer no one has been able to determine that yet. Texas Mom
6 :
Probably but don't worry! You can grow them yourself and prevent breast cancer at the same time and its free. Well almost! You need to do it every day to keep it going. Nipple stimulation releases prolactin and makes them grow

Do women only care about breast cancer and not care about guys who have prostate cancer

Do women only care about breast cancer and not care about guys who have prostate cancer?
I think it's bad how some women only care about breast cancer and don't care about prostate cancer. Some of them laugh at men who have prostate cancer. Oh so women only care about breast cancer because they don't want their breasts removed? I thought women cared about breast cancer because it can cause death, wow this sure is news to me!!

i don't know of anyone who would laugh about prostate cancer, that's cruel, perhaps because breast cancer is so visible and disfiguring and mutilating to women and their husbands leave them and reconstruction is painful and more surgery?
2 :
I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THAT (WOMAN LAUGHING, I MEAN)
3 :
I dont think this is true. They are more concerned about what affects their body, but thay are not un sympathetic. My man was diagnosed with prostate cancer at age 3. Had a nut removed, I think no differently of him.
4 :
I don't know what kind of women you know who would think like that but it's not true. My father-in-law has prostate cancer and I care very much. If my husband got it, it would devastate me. So who the heck is saying that. In my circle of friends, we have never laughed at any man with prostate cancer and if I ever saw one that did, I would be very angry with them. If you know a woman or women who laugh at men with cancer, give them a kick where the sun don't shine for me ADD, I had both my breast removed in November of 08. You know what I think about that? I HAVE LIFE, that's what I care about.
5 :
I think women are more concerned about breast cancer because it is more of a personal threat - I have yet to hear of one having prostate cancer. Most women I know are supportive of al people with cancer, no matter what the type. I have never come across one who would laugh at a man with prostate cancer. Maybe you are mixing with the wrong women?
6 :
Prostate cancer is nasty, but very, very, very rarely ever kills anyone....most men with it will die of old age before the cancer kills them. (Not all, but most). Breast cancer strikes women (and men) of ALL ages; we cannot save ALL cancer patients, therefore it makes sense (currently) to focus on where we can get the best "bang for our buck"... Get a grip.
7 :
you talk in generalities that make no sense, so I could give a rats ass what you think

Who prompted the NFL's support of breast cancer awareness

Who prompted the NFL's support of breast cancer awareness?
I remember watching a game and hearing that one particular player suggested that the NFL support breast cancer awareness. Does anyone recall who it was?

i think it was the president of the nfl league
2 :
it's breast Cancer Awareness month, or maybe that was last month
3 :
I think it was owners Spanos' and Snyder's wives. They are both survivors.
4 :
They're trying to clean up their image and make people forget about the Big Ben's of the league. So Favre stuff hits the fan the same week. There's just too many bad apples there to patch over the problem...
